Canepa is seeking an experienced Parts Department Counterperson. The ideal candidate is highly energetic, detail oriented, proactive, and extremely organized. The Parts Department Counterperson will staff the Parts Department on a full time basis and will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following areas: Source hard to find and special order parts. Place and track orders. Develop contingency plans for orders that experience delays. Receive orders, ensure order correctness, and distribution to shop personnel. Maintain inventory accuracy and integrity. Ship and confirm delivery of outbound material. Meet with suppliers and establish and maintain accounts. Cost out parts and materials on work orders. Maintain showroom parts counter and inventory. Internet parts sales. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years Automotive Parts Department Experience. Ability to work on an individual basis with limited direction. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Internet search engine. (QuickBooks accounting software a plus, but not required).
