MERRIMACK, NH – A 25-year-old Nashua man is being held without bail after he was arrested Thursday for resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance, police said. Harrison Duong was scheduled to be arraigned Friday after his arrest Thursday morning. Duong's vehicle was pulled over by Merrimack Police at 10:31 a.m., on Daniel Webster Highway for a traffic violation, police said. Duong attempted to flee but was eventually detailed. He then provided officers with a false name, police said before eventually providing officers with his real identity. When police attempted to take Duong into custody, he resisted arrest. After being arrested, it was determined that Duong was wanted on a warrant for parole violation. He was also in possession of a controlled drug, police said. He was charged with held without bond and remains in custody at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections and was scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Friday.
