Skate One, skateboard manufacturing company, located in Ventura seeks QA TECHNICIAN. Full time position conducts incoming and in-process inspections of skateboards and its components to assure conformance to company quality standards. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to the following · Work with Receiving and Production Departments to acquire designated sample products or materials for testing. · Perform measurements and testing using a wide range of tools and gauges. · Record and manage data in organized workbooks, both in paper and electronic form. · Return tested product and materials to designated locations and communicate disposition verbally and electronically in English. · Work closely with management and production personnel to assure parts and processes comply with established specifications, standards, and guidelines. · Responsible for calling attention to any “out of spec.” or unusual test results. · Maintain a clean and organized work area. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs · Other duties as required. Qualifications and Experience: · 2 + years of manufacturing experience · Previous experience in QA a plus · Excellent problem solving skills MUST PASS DRUG PANEL & BACKGROUND CHECK MUST BE RELIABLE & DEPENDABLE Skate One is an EOE
