This is the Tennessee State mandated course necessary to obtain your Enhanced (Open/Concealed) handgun carry permit. We will cover but not limited to; proper grip, stance, how to safely handle a firearm, how to properly align your sights, becoming a responsible firearm owner, cleaning your firearm, State law and so much more. You will take a 50 question test directly after the knowledge portion of class. The range qualification is directly after your classroom knowledge test. ( Must pass both) with a minimum of 70%. No worries if you do not own a firearm. We rent firearms to students for $25. (We do not qualify with revolvers) Please bring your firearm and 50 rounds of target ammunition. We will provide ear/eye protection, your target, and a safe environment. Please fill out the handgun permit application and bring the application number with you the day of class. http://Dl.safety.tn.gov Refunds are no refundable.
