Rufus and Delilah Dog Walking is a well-loved and highly respected dog walking and pet sitting referral agency looking for some highly skilled independent contractors to join our network. We are seeking exceptional independent dog walkers with availability Monday to Friday for weekly dog walking and we are seeking exceptional independent dog walkers/pet sitters with availability 7 seven days a week for overnights and pet sitting requests when clients are away. Independent Dog Walkers and Pet Sitters needed for clients who live in Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Encino, Van Nuys, Valley Village, Toluca Lake, and North Hollywood. Due to the cost of gas, you may prefer to live in one of these cities. An ideal contractor would: Have experience working with animals - dogs and cats in particular. Enjoy being physically active and spending time with animals outdoors. Be an excellent and diligent communicator. Be great with time management, communication skills, and reliability. Have a smart phone to use for scheduling, updates, and general communications as clients require. Have a positive attitude. Be comfortable taking photos of pets and texting updates and other communications. Be willing and physically capable of handling animals who might pull on leash, need medication, etc. Be willing to service clients within any or all of the cities of Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, North Hollywood, Encino & Studio City. Have a flexible schedule and availability. Work well with other pet sitters and contractors; be respectful, honest and forthright. Our clients request services 7 days a week. We are looking for independent pet professionals who are interested in any of the following gigs: Morning walks and/or visits between 8AM - 12PM Mid-day walks and/or visits between 11AM - 4PM Evening walks and/or visits between 3PM - 6PM Late evening walks and/or visits between 7-10PM Weekend walks, and/or visits Overnight Pet Sitting: Overnights in our clients’ homes from the evening through the next morning for the duration of 14 to 12 hours, typically from 6 or 8PM - 8AM If you love caring for pets and want to make a difference in their lives and their owner's lives, please EMAIL us in 50 words or less what makes you a great pet sitter or dog walker.
