VOLUNTEER to help Keep Nassau Beautiful & Nassau County Solid Waste empty vehicles of their hazardous material at our drive thru event. By registering for this event you are registering to VOLUNTEER to help unload vehicles as they arrive at the hazarduos waste collection event. This will require some lifting and the event is held outdoors. All volunteers are required to wear masks and gloves. We practice social distancing and are asking residents to stay in their cars. You will be touching the surface of the cars to unload and we ask that you change gloves whenever necessary . Helping at this event is fast-paced and very rewarding. The time usually flies by! Due to the nature of the items being collected we recommend this event for VOLUNTEERS ages 16 or older ONLY. Gloves will be provided, Please BYOMask, Water and light snacks also provided.
