Black Hawk Stables is a beautiful facility nestled in beautiful tehachipi. Our barn offers box and in and out stalls, turnout, round pen, arena, tack room, heated indoor wash rack and trail access to over 1000 acres of beautiful country riding. Mia has over 25 years of riding experience. Over 22 years of competitive show experience. Mia has been trained by top professionals, Tobias Schontliener (Grand Prix),Liz Denny (Grand Prix), Hilda Gureny (Olympian trainer and Judge), training with Jodie Cressman (USDF Bronz and silver Medalist, Grand Prix), and Melinda Golis (Judge and Trainer). Mia's focus of instruction is emphasized between horse and rider. Assisting the student and horse in positive and effective communication, through the use of verbal and non-verbal cues to aid in achieving team results. It is Mia's passion and commitment in creating a nurturing and empowering environment for both horse and rider to last a life time ! Professional riding instruction is offered to all ages, for the beginner to the advanced rider offered in the English and Western disciplines. For the schooling to competative rider (showing in rated and non-rated shows); schooling to A circuit shows! National levels. Beginner to committed competitor!
