The 3rd Annual Women's History Month Luncheon honors & celebrates the intricate, yet vital bonds between women of all ages & backgrounds. It can be said that 2021 is shaping up to be the year of the woman with the inauguration of Kamala Harris as the first female Vice President of the United States. The 3rd Annual Women's History Month Luncheon, themed "Celebrating HERstory," honors the contributions of other trailblazing adult women who demonstrate a commitment to lifting as they climb the ladder of success and empowering the next generation of dynamic women. Fifty female students will select one female sponsor they admire to attend this annual luncheon, hosted by Traci L. Battest, principal of Ed White High School in Jacksonville, Fla. Sponsorships include lunch and an event t-shirt for the student and sponsor to be worn at the event on Monday, March 22 with their chucks and pearls, in honor of VP Harris. Social distancing protocols will be strictly enforced to ensure the safety of all participants.
