We have immediate openings for a General Foreman in our MI Restoration division. Job Requirements Ensure quality of all work performed. Perform field duties as needed. Supervises field Foreman and others as designated by Supervisor. Will efficiently manage and coordinate assigned work volumes. Attend all required meetings. Report all suspected abuse of equipment or tools to the Supervisor Ensure effective and efficient usage of all company resources. Help ensure safe and efficient work practices to help assist company in realizing profits. Reviewing for completion the maintenance on equipment and insuring the completion of the necessary tracking forms on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Assist in creating and strengthening relationships with current customers. Enforce all safety rules and company policies. Assist area leadership to plan and conduct weekly meetings to promote safety, improve work processes and keep the employees motivated. Handle employee issues which includes addressing issues of job quality, safety concerns and when necessary will discipline and reprimand employees under your supervision. Handle all customer complaints as dispatched and keep in contact reporting resolve to office customer service representative. Work closely with area leadership for maintenance, accident reduction, equipment abuse and equipment tracking issues. Review time sheets and expense sheets for accuracy Work with Equipment Dept for scheduling and repair of area equipment maintenance. Visit weekly and work closely with other Foremen to develop their skills. Will represent company in a courteous and professional manner with respect to conduct and appearance with, vendors and customers and behave respectfully toward fellow employees on any management or non-management level and honor requests made in relationship to work-related items. Will project a friendly, courteous and helpful attitude toward all work-related contacts whether fellow employees, contractors, vendors and customers. Preferred Requirements: • Commercial Driver's license (CDL) or willingness to obtain • Current Federal Medical Card Must be dependable, and willing and able to perform physically demanding work in the elements. Some of the physical demands are: Must be able to lift 100 pounds on a daily and continual basis. Ability to drive on a stop and start basis daily and continually. Lifting, placing of materials, standing, walking, turning, stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, crouching, speaking and hearing are required continuously. Close vision is required for some functions and distance and peripheral vision is required for safety. Must possess and maintain an appropriate and valid driver’s license. Class A license preferred, or a willingness to obtain one. General Foreman are subject to outside weather conditions in elements and will be exposed to a variety of noise and ground surface temperatures. General Foreman must be willing to work overtime as dictated by workload volumes. Pay is determined by union contract. Q3 Contracting is a drug-free environment.
