Description

This program is designed to offer the ASD child with some prior tennis experience the chance to explore more about the game! This program is designed to offer the ASD child with some prior tennis experience the chance to explore more about the game in a small group setting. Together with Love Serving Autism, The Parker Foundation is thrilled to partner with Racquet Club of Cocoa Beach (RCCB), a USTA Florida managed facility, to bring this program to our families! We plan to meet on Fridays 5-6pm on the clay courts at RCCB so we have our own space within the facilty. Starting February 5th we will meet for the next few Fridays through March 5th (weather make-up day). All current USTA Safe Play guidelines intended to prevent the spread of COVID-19 will be followed. We anticipate a maximum enrollment of 8 children. Staff for our program include local tennis professionals and junior tennis players who serve as Tennis Buddies. All equipment is provided, and children with racquets already are welcomed to bring their own! Who can I contact with questions? Julia Barney, Director, The Parker Foundation for Autism and Child Development 321-704-3459 (call) or (text) Email: [email protected]
