When disaster occurs, Restoration Technicians are the 'first in' after fire, water, or major property loss. They are among the elite in the restoration industry and coordinate the response to water and fire damages. It requires a caring individual willing to assist businesses or individual homeowners in what is often one of their greatest times of need. Who are we? We are Aquasafe Cleaning & Restoration. We help people when they need it the most, such as after floods, fires, and other catastrophes. When someone suffers a major loss, we are there to clean up and put the pieces back together. At the end of the day we get to go home knowing that we made someone else’s life a little bit better. Would you like to join our team? Specific Responsibilities: · Interior Demolition - drywall, flooring, etc. · Ability to successfully assess water damages and determine drying protocol (training provided) · Setting and removal of equipment · May work in attics and crawlspaces · Lift 30+pounds constantly for extended periods · Must be able to work 40+ hours a week, overtime pay after 40 hours · Rotating on-call schedule with bonuses, available for large loss emergencies · Must have 3 years of driving experience and have a clean motor vehicle report · Must have demonstrated ability to oversee multiple tasks and to direct other technicians · Knowledge of basic construction and use of power tools · Other duties as determined upon hire Requirements: · Flexibility · Solid written and verbal communication skills · Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities · Basic understanding of math · Comfort level with basic general technology · Restoration or construction experience strongly preferred but we will train the right applicant. · IICRC WRT Certification is a plus Training, advancement, and career opportunities are available.
