Private chef and prep help needed: We are a small private chef and catering team looking for a reliable, talented and seasoned chef who can help with cooking for occasional Private Chef dinner parties as lead Chef (6 - 12 guest usually), and catering events as Sous with Owner (20 - 100 person events). Plus, part time weekday & early evening prep. We offer our clients high end, French/California, from scratch, haute cuisine; for vacation rentals/tourist and small wedding parties. We are located in Sebastopol (Commercial kitchen): Travel within Sonoma, Napa, Marin and San Francisco, mostly Sonoma. Great opportunity to expand your culinary talents from the restaurant to a single table per night and showcase your talent! This is part time (week day prep) and on call (dinner parties) as we start to get busy again. Great opportunity to earn extra cash - for a talented Chef. Must have: Good DMV -Reliable vehicle. (Drive time to events and dinner parties are paid). -Well groomed -Passion for great hospitality and service. -Professional and friendly demeanor. -Self motivated -Team player -Ability to cook intuitively -Our team entertains: Chef must have the ability to chat with guests and give cooking tips while preparing in the client's kitchen with a smile. -Be quick, clean, and safe. -Work as a team with servers. -Willing to travel up to 1 - 2 hours for dinner parties (Mostly within Napa/Sonoma) -Take charge in a kind leadership role. -Be an excellent cook and passionate about cuisine. -8 years experience in high end dining. -2 years Catering experience.. -Culinary degree. -Follow through with commitments. -Proficient in word, google docs and calendars -Great communicator -We love to cook and please our clients, looking forward to meeting you!
