NOW HIRING Allentown Tire 143 E. Hamilton St. Allentown Pa 18109 General Automotive Mechanic We also have jobs for Tire Service Techs (changing, mounting, balancing) that do not require licensing. PAY IS NEGOTIABLE AND BASED ON EXPERIENCE (12$-19$) per hour. Overtime is available most weeks. We need someone who is dependable. This is a VERY fast paced shop. Multitasking with a good attitude is a must. WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS A MUST! Do not apply if you cannot work most weekends. JOB DESCRIPTION Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, tire balancing, alignments, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations and headlight/taillight installations Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems and provide accurate repair recommendations Inspect vehicles according to the state’s requirements for emissions and safety Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety PLEASE EMAIL [email protected] to apply!
