Commercial Superintendent: Multi-Family Our client, a reputable General Contractor is currently looking for a commercial superintendent with a focus in multi-family construction. The commercial superintendent will be working on large commercial jobs (multi-family) in the Olympia area. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience with commercial construction, specializing in multi-family, with large job infrastructure, earthwork, concrete parking, civil and right of way improvements. Commercial Superintendent Responsibilities: · Overall job supervision, on-site project production under the direction of a Project Manager · Applying structural engineering principles and concepts to the design of various multi-family and commercial buildings · Knowledge of relevant building codes related to the design of structural post tension foundation and commercial framing · Construction administration services including, reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and performing structural inspections · Time keeping and personal tracking · Schedule maintenance and schedule performance · Plans and specification maintenance and implementation · Subcontractor scheduling and subcontractor performance monitoring · Interface with city officials. Call in all inspections and implement corrections. · Architect interface in conjunction with the PM · Weekly meetings with office and architect · Billing justification in conjunction with the PM · Office operations meetings participant Commercial Superintendent Qualifications: · A Minimum of 5+ years of demonstrated construction supervision experience in commercial and multi-family construction · Strong knowledge of concrete, earthwork, and large job infrastructure · Thorough knowledge and understanding of building blue prints, maps, and color charts · Demonstrated on-site field experience as carpenter / project foreman is preferred · Ability to manage, supervise, mentor personnel · Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, budget/cost control, quality control · Ability to read and understand plans and specifications · Proficient in Microsoft Suite · Maintain OSHA 10, First Aid, CPR certifications · Must have valid driver’s license www.nwrecruitingpartners.com
