Maria's in University Place is looking to hire a motivated, part-time/full-time, host/hostess. Come be part of a great team and restaurant that offers fantastic Mexican Cuisine to a great local community, in a very vibrant, traditional atmosphere. We are looking to onboard an individual that takes pride in providing exceptional customer service to every client. Responsibilities Include: - Greeting & seating guests in a friendly, professional manner - Answering phone calls, questions from guests, etc. - Engaging w/ customers to ensure they're content - Reports to work as indicated on the schedule & in the correct uniform - Create relationships with guests - PLUS: Run & maintain company social media accounts (Instagram & Facebook). Great experience to gain! Qualifications: - Industry experience is a plus but not required - Must have desire to help assist whenever & wherever needed - Maintain a positive attitude & smile to leave great, unforgettable impressions - Flexibility to work - Knowing Spanish language is also a plus, but not required.
