Immediately Available Position: Lead Cultivator Responsibilities • Responsible for overseeing your group assigned processes and capable of performing hands-on tasks in the grow/cultivation area • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision • Reports all equipment, technical, or workload problems immediately to Cultivation Manager • Flexible work schedule: the demands of the job often require long days and weekend shifts • Maintains cultivation environment (cleaning and sanitizing workspaces, consumables inventory, media inventory, etc.). • Follows all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Oversees daily activities of part-time and full-time cultivators under the guidance and supervision of the Cultivation Manager. • Ensures 100% compliance involving proper data recording, product tracking and security throughout all processes • Performs daily cultivation duties • Performs all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe grow environment • Other duties as assigned needed/required to meet project goals Preferred Employee Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of commercial cultivation experience • Must be capable of leading a team and assisting them in job processes when/where required • Must be at least 21 years of age • Must have at least 1 year commercial grow experience as a Lead Cultivator • Comfortable with physical labor in all environmental conditions (hot or cold) • Flexible with schedule, able to work some weekends • Must be able to supervise a crew of between 3-7 people • Have a positive attitude • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Job Skills: • Attention to detail • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to interact with team members • Technical literacy and ability to calculate figures, proportions, ratios, volumes, and percentages in relation to the application of fertilizers, water, and chemicals • Strong work ethic • Regular attendance and punctuality. • Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time We Provide • Covid-sensitive work environment • Positive and peaceful work environment • Strong, compassionate leadership and organization • Opportunity to advance in this rapidly growing company based on strong performance and demonstration of commitment Please apply directly on our Careers page website at www.mendoranch.farm
