Description
We are looking for a in the pocket, funky bass player for our band. We have played a number of gigs in the front range last year and have gigs lined up for the warmer weather ahead. The band currently consists of a lead guitar, rhythm guitar and a drummer. Our repertoire is mainly covers right now with a focus on songwriting. A bass player with a great sense of rhythm and groove with a passion on the songwriting process would be ideal. And a plus if you can sing some harmonies! Our covers range from Talking Heads, Led Zeppelin, Grateful Dead, Phish, various classic rock and jammy tunes with an emphasis on some booty shaking. At this point we have about a half dozen originals.
We are an easy going, chill group of musicians in our late 30's to early 50's. Ideally looking for someone with these qualities that is mature and does their homework, with passion. We can do small rehearsals at the drummer's house, which is a little west of Jamestown in the Bar-K. In the warmer months my garage will be open for practices as well and I live around this vicinity, but if you have a spot to get together as well, this could be a plus.
We are all about working as a collective and making this fun and worthwhile for everyone. Get a hold of us if you think you're a good fit!
