Description

Hello- I'm looking for a windows/networking expert to help with configuring a recording studio network. Coming from mac here and win is a little complicated. Willing to pay, or trade for studio time or both, it's a legit studio with decades in operation. I'm posting in the musician section because I'm hoping to find someone who gets that this is the music business and not crazy corporate budgets. I can't afford a 20k switch... Here is what I ultimately need to do- -Configure Win server 2019 on with 2x 2port CX3pro with RDMA and have things to where it can be upgraded to 100GbE in the future. -Setup 3 workstations with 56GbE switchless RDMA connection to server (So W10fW) -Setup NVMe (0) and HDD (1) Raid10 to host sessions and sample libraries for 3 workstations -Some help with understanding workgroups/domain, powershell etc so users aren't all logged in with admin privileges and I can generally make sense out of this after you leave. In the near future, I just need to get 2 existing computers talking to each other with 40/56GbE so I can test some things and get a better handle on how this works in win. I'm a pretty quick study, got HPE 544+ and qsfp+ to the point where they can ping each other (lol) and the two machines do talk to each other on my old 10g network. Looking for the STH expert, ideally who is into music stuff. Hit me up if that's you!
