Housekeeper Austin, TX Description Responsible for the overall cleaning and appearance of the community models and vacant ready apartments, in addition to the public common access areas utilized by current and/or prospective residents. Requirements • Cleans the office, clubhouse, public access areas and models as directed. This includes, but is not limited to, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal. • Cleans apartments completely after move-out or make ready in order to prepare for new residents. • Keeps model units and public access areas clean and maintains them according to GWR Management Community standards. • Monitors and reports on the inventory of cleaning supplies. • Maintains the housekeeping storage room or closet. Keep it neat and in an organized manner. • Reports any maintenance concerns or repairs in unoccupied apartments, models, clubhouse and/or common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor. • Provides assistance to the maintenance staff and other staff members as needed. • Maintains open communication with the Property Manager and Maintenance Director. • Assists with clean-up at resident and company functions. • Delivers various communications to residents as needed. • Attends and participates in training seminars as requested. • May be required to drive motorized vehicles to run errands or pick up supplies. • Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times. Consistently maintains a professional courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers and the general public. • Responsible for maintaining safe and secure work areas with water and chemical usage. • May assist the maintenance team by cleaning property grounds when needed. • Performs other duties as assigned Job Requirements/Skills High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning products and supplies. Organizational skills and the ability to pay attention to detail required. Valid driver’s license and good driving record along with auto insurance required. Common cleaning tools, including mops, brooms, buckets, pails, vacuum cleaners, scrapers, and knives. Motorized vehicles.
