Job Description: Production Technicians Wanted. MUST BE WILLING TO WORK 1st or 2nd SHIFT AS ASSIGNED. Icon Foods is a growing manufacturer and distributor of all-natural food ingredients. We value quality, safety, effort, integrity and dependability. We work a 40-hour work week Monday-Friday or Monday-Thursday (depending on production needs). Hours of operation are 5:00 am - 9:30 pm depending on your role and assignment. Candidates MUST BE WILLING TO WORK FIRST OR SECOND SHIFT AS ASSIGNED. Desired Qualities & Traits: • The ability to work safely at all times. • Reliability - be to work on time, every time while performing your assignment. • High attention to detail. • Ability to follow instructions. • A high standard for quality, work ethic, cleanliness & organization. Valued Experience (preferred but not required): • Mechanical skills/aptitude - packaging/manufacturing equipment operation, assembly and disassembly. • Food manufacturing. • Sanitation. • Forklift/Material Handling Equipment. • 5S practices. Icon Foods Production Technician Job Description: We are looking for someone who: • Can routinely lift up to 55lbs (up to five days per week, depending on production needs). • Is comfortable with sustained physical work. • Is self-motivated and requires little oversight. • Possesses high levels of integrity and reliability. • The ability to clean and sanitize (as needed) at a high level. • Ability & willingness to learn basic packaging equipment assembly & disassembly. • Has reliable transportation and/or the ability to be at work on time, every time. • Has schedule flexibility. Requirements: Some of the requirements to fill the Icon Foods Production Technician role include but are not limited to: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Reliable transportation or the ability to be to work on time, every time. • A brief cover letter or paragraph stating why you believe you’re the person I’m looking for. Compensation: Compensation will be $17.00 per hour.
