Made in the USA, we are proud to offer a lifetime warranty on most products. The Rubber Machine Operator produces molded products or parts from pre-mixed standard rubber compounds. The Machine Operator observes continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that products meet specifications and to detect jams or malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary. Other key tasks include measuring and visually inspecting products for surface and dimension defects in order to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments; positioning and securing work pieces on machines, and start feeding mechanisms; and turning valves and dials of machines to regulate pressure, temperature, and speed and feed rates, and to set cycle times. The Machine Operator removes finished or cured products from dies or molds, using hand tools, air hoses and other equipment; trims excess material from parts, using knives, and grind scrap plastic into powder for reuse; and cools products after processing to prevent distortion. Responsibilities include but are not limited to setting quality standards, ensuring standards are met, training and communicating policies and procedures, auditing and analyzing processes, measuring production, reporting results. Develops and maintains strong working relationships by working closely with employees, supervisors and other departments. Day Shift is 7:00am - 3:30pm Mon - Fri and starts at $16.00 per hour Swing Shift is 3:00pm - 11:30pm Mon - Fri and starts at $16.50 per hour Night Shift is 11:00pm - 7:30am Mon - Fri and starts at $16.75 per hour Full time benefits include medical/dental/vision coverage, PTO, paid holidays after waiting period, life insurance, 401k with up to 4% match.
