CityFront Terrace HOA, is a downtown condominium community seeking an energetic, task oriented individual to lead our on-site janitorial team. Job Summary—Full time non-exempt, weekday, weekend and rotating holidays The Janitorial Services Lead is responsible for hands on janitorial duties, supervision, inspection and control of all custodial and related services associated with the community. This position commands a self-starter, able to maintain a brisk pace performing duties that require being on one's feet for long periods, lifting, squatting, bending, working from ladders or high places, pushing, pulling and other physical tasks. Key Responsibilities: •Act as a non-administrative lead to oversee routine and non-routine cleaning schedules and environmental services while promoting a positive work experience for all •Identify and employ best practices •Supervises and coordinates the janitorial work activities site wide (includes common areas, corridors, exterior court yards, pool area, waste and recycling programs, etc.) •Ability to develop cleaning schedules to maintain building as first-in-class •Ability to train janitors on work-related equipment and cleaning methodologies supervises, motivates and nurtures a positive team-based environment •Ability to maintain inventory controls and make product orders •Reports administrative matters to Facility Manager Qualifications: •Must be skilled in the safe use of cleaning and disinfectant solutions •Able to communicate effectively with management and staff in verbal and written form •High School diploma or GED required •Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience with increasing levels of responsibility within facilities services or other service -related field preferred •Prior experience supervising janitorial services in a hospitality environment •Experience supervising daily activities, repetitive and periodic tasks •Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and make sound decisions in fast paced environment •Strong customer service and interdepartmental skills required •Creative problem solving skills •Experience in working with residents, clients, vendors and staff Apply in person (by appointment only) at the Management Office located on the corner of Market St and Union St. Once your appointment has been scheduled, please remember to attend wearing a facemask and prepare to be socially distanced.
