Superstar Activator is a fast-paced personal development company committed to the advancement of women in business. Our purpose is to activate "Superstars" (AKA: speakers, authors, coaches, thought leaders and educators) to build businesses that lead others and make the world a better place. We are currently looking for a temporary Event Coordinator to assist with an upcoming, multi-faceted event being held at a local hotel in the Tampa Bay area. This event is for a group of less than 30 people who are all in the professional speaking field. The right individual has worked as an Event Coordinator, or has assisted with event production/execution in the past. Experience working with hotel/ venue staff and offsite events is a plus. The event: An intensive three day workshop for our top clients where they learn, practice and master business tools, geared towards marketing their brand. They will have the opportunity to perfect their speeches, record their reels, prep and records interviews, have professional headshots taken and more. Your role: To ensure the entire event runs smoothly. You will be working closely with our CEO and our outside production team to ensure proper set up, working with hotel staff to ensure breaks and F&B are timely and follow agenda, and assist the CEO with any and all tasks that may arise during the event. You will also work with the CEO's assistant with any pre and post event details that may be needed, leading up to the event and the days following to ensure on site coordination is smooth and efficient and the necessary materials, props and decor are ready. The right individual: · Must be detailed oriented and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. · Must be able to take direction and work with a team. You will be working closely with our CEO and our outside Production Team. · Must be organized · Have experience coordinating events · Have reliable transportation to be able to arrive on time each day of the event · Be flexible and willing to work long hours or as long as it takes to get the job done Event Dates are: February 18th,19th & 20th
