Seeking Pod Teacher/Leader Facilitator

We are looking for a teacher/facilitator for a young children's pod 2-3 days a week in Mount Airy, Philadelphia starting between now and the fall. Ages range from 2.5-6, between 3 and 6 kids total. Considerable flexibility in terms of the exact schedule. We a seeking someone with an background in Montessori, Waldorf, Reggio Emilia, Emergent Curriculum, or other respectful, child-centered/child-led approaches. The ideal candidate will be a confident leader, who enjoys working with children and believes strongly in their innate desire and ability to learn through life. We would like to create an environment where the needs of our children and their areas of interest drive the lessons and information presented, as well as plenty of time for free play, movement, social interaction, fresh air, and personal growth. References are a must, but formal teaching certifications are not. Our intentions for this pod are to create a space for normalcy and freedom for our children. Interested candidates should be open to and comfortable discussing how we can best achieve this in our current environment. We look forward to hearing from you!
