Description
Valentines Wine & Cheese Pairing to go! Take home a great bottle of wine selected by our Sommelier and pair with a Cultured Cheese Board! Commonwealth Tap is teaming up with Cultured, a fantastic local cheese shop in NuLu, to bring you this special offer for Valentines. This offer is available for pick up only at Commonwealth Tap beginning on Saturday, February 13th through Sunday, February 14th. Due limited dining space of Commonwealth Tap, at the moment, this offer will only be available to go and available on a pre-order basis. If you are interested, please purchase through this site. The package cost for this offer is $69.99 plus tax - here is what comes in our Valentine's Day Wine & Cheese pairing: The Wine: You will receive one bottle of Hartford Court 2019 Russian River Pinot Noir, made from a collection of small vineyards throughout the Russian River Valley AVA. Aromas of black cherry, blueberry, black currant, allspice, and loam are followed by flavors of wild raspberries, dark berries, and a crushed rock minerality. The dense entry is followed by a sweet and juicy mouthfeel, supported by acidity, silky tannins, and a subtle earthy finish. This wine wins great acclaim every year, we offer it at Commonwealth Tap by the bottle (for $37.99) and have used it for our Wine Club in the past. We love it and we think that it would be a great pairing with this cheese... The Cheese: Specializing in local & unique farmstead cheeses; highlighting Kenny’s Farmhouse Cheese. At Cultured Cheese Shop, we are honored to represent a continuation of the Mattingly family farm, and our shared passion for serving others. It is our pleasure to offer an exquisite array of finely-crafted cheese boards, charcuterie, and a dynamic selection of carefully-curated wines & beer — to include special orders, pairing classes, and event space. “We foster a memorable, always-savory, homespun welcome, with the aim of offering our patrons the kind feeling I always had when walking into my grandmother’s kitchen.” — Jessica Mattingly (owner)
