Pick up a three-course dinner to pair with the classic film Casablanca. Complimentary pre-dinner discussion & tasting notes with the chefs. Join us Valentine's weekend for a three-course (take-out) dinner inspired by the classic film Casablanca. Released in 1942 when the outcome of WWII was still unknown, Casablanca portrays the beauty and complexity of love against the backdrop of a chaotic and changing world order. Pair our dinner with a cozy viewing of Casablanca or let the flavors transport you to life in Morocco's teeming metropole in the 1940s... The dinner menu highlights classic Moroccan dishes served in the upscale bistrots of the capital, such as the film's Blue Parrot. [Full menu bellow]. The dessert menu is inspired by the cast of characters that frequent Rick's Café—a meeting place of refugees, resistance fighters, criminals and Vichy sympathizers from across Europe—and features sweets ranging from Moroccan and French classics to favorite desserts of the Czech Republic and Rick's own New York City. Orders will be available for pickup between 3:00-5:30 PM on Saturday, February 13 at 79 Lakeview Terrace in Burlington. You will be sent a confirmation email with your assigned pickup time. One dinner is a full meal for two or a generous meal for one. Vegan and gluten-free meals available upon request. GF options are prepared in a facility that processes wheat flour. At 6:30 PM chef-anthropologist team Richard Witting and Anna Mays will offer a free Zoom discussion to introduce the dishes and the film, offer tasting notes and to answer any questions about the meal. Yes. Email us and we can make your dinner gluten-free or vegan. GF dinner will include rice and will not have bread. 2. Can I order a gluten-free dessert? The dessert sampler contains a few GF desserts. Alternatively, the chocolate raspberry cake option is GF. 3. How do I watch the movie?
