BRANDON, FL — Summer will be here before you know it, and the kids will need something to do.
The Summer Passport Program will provide one to two weeks of camp for kids ages 6 to 14 at no cost to families. The local attractions include: Glazer Children's Museum, MOSI, Zoo Tampa at Lowry Park, The Florida Aquarium, Tampa Museum of Art, and the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, Tampa Theater and the Lighting/Vinik Sports Group.
If you want to register your child, you'll first need to register as a member of the Children's Board Family Resources Centers. The organization is only reserving spots for members, and space for the camps is limited and based on availability.
To become a member of the Family Resource Centers please visit your local center, become a member and get access to the vast array of services offered at no cost to children and families.
The Children's Board has funded an opportunity for Hillsborough County children to participate i the Summer Passport Program. Registration opens March 6, and will take place at each of the six Children's Board Family Resource Centers located throughout Hillsborough County.
