Why this job is the coolest. Our Outfitters will serve on a team whose job is to help Rack N Road, one of the nation's top retailers for car racks and hitches, engage with all of its audiences. As a Rack N Road Outfitter, you will contribute to the success of Rack N Road by using the vast knowledge you've gained through your extensive training to sell our products and services to our customers. Some of your tasks include, but are not limited to: * Provides excellent customer service to Rack N Road guests. * Sells a wide variety of all the latest products and services. * Continually expands knowledge of Rack N Road * Performs installations of the sold product on customer vehicles * Keeps the store/showroom in top-notch shape: clean and ready to serve. * Stocks product from truck/warehouse to the sales floor * A team player: Communicates and Operates well with other staff and management Show 'em what you've got! Here are some qualities we look for in our Outfitters and Installers: * Previous retail sales and customer services experience (preferred) * Effective communication skills * Knowledgeable of outdoor activities in the assigned department. * Completion of the "Rack N Road handbook training guide" prior to working on the sales floor * Working knowledge of tools and prior experience working on cars a plus. Bike Mechanics wanted! * Prior customer service experience strongly preferred but not required if you are willing to learn. * A positive attitude and great customer service skills are a must. * We look for someone who is: self-motivated, a people person with a great work ethic. * Love for the outdoors and/or cars are a plus.
