Tape measure (25 ft minimum) Standard Pliers * standard metal vise grips * standard needle nose * standard wire cutters * aviation/tin snips Allen wrench set (5/16" to 1/4") * Standard & Metric 12” to 15” Heavy Duty wonder/pry bar Magnetic torpedo level Masonry kite string (150' feet min) Band-aids - 5 minimum (Emergency Kit preferred) Tool Box and/or Bag Toolbelt with 1 side pouch required 3 Light electric tester Safety glasses Steel-toed boots Black Jeans/work pants Gloves Work requirements: Safely receive, load/unload, strip, stage, install (assembles), and tear down (dismantle) Corporate furniture systems (modular furniture). Ensures accurate and timely installation of products with manufacturer’s specifications and to the customer’s satisfaction. • Must have the ability to work safely & efficiently and follow all CAL-OSHA and Stations policies • Must be 18 years of age and be eligible to work in the United States • Must be able to possess and demonstrate Integrity, good hygiene, professional work ethic, and appearance. • Must be able to multitask and work efficiently with other TEAM MEMBERS. • Mechanically inclined – work well with your hands, experience with tools. • Ability to prevent damage to person, product, or facility • Able to lift and carry 50 pounds or team lift 75 pounds according to Station safety procedures • Must be able to work with a flexible work schedule. • Must have reliable transportation to work at job sites throughout the Greater Bay Area and Central Valley • Applicants for driver positions must have a valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record • Need to be able to possess your own tools. • Experience with Herman Miller, Knoll, AMQ, Allsteel, Teknion, Friant, Haworth, and Steelcase is preferred. • Construction experience preferred • Facilities, furniture, fixture, and equipment experience preferred. Material Handler • Material Handling/Unloading & Loading trucks lifting 50 lb to 75 lb in a Team lift. • Checking off Bingo Sheets • Separation and Disposal of cardboard & trash • Wipe down, clean work areas and product • Building & Floor protection • Equipment usage and stacking of Dollies, P Carts, Pads and handling of special tools • Safely protecting product onsite and in transit to the final destination • Job site Organization - Managing tools and equipment onsite • Job site Hazard Assessment, Staging Product and assisting lead • General Labor Installer I • Installing Wall Track • Surface and Column Cuts • Site inspection/field measurements • Ability to do Project Status Report (uploading photos and information for clients) • IQ Usage (Time Capture on Web-based platform) • Professional e-mail usage knowledge • Hard Copy vs. Soft Copy paperwork • Has an understanding of at least (10) lines of furniture • Has an understanding of (10) Advanced Training Modules Installer II • Inspects and documents product for damage and quality before installation or delivery. • Has an understanding of at least (5) lines of furniture • Reading Prints • Knowledge of Power Tools Usage • Power Pole Training • Stringing A Floor • Has an understanding of (5) Advanced Training Modules • Knowledge of Steam Cleaner (CFR) • Has all tools required (See Below) Night Crew (Tools Not Required but must have a valid license and ability to drive for our company to be considered) • Checking in all trucks Daily. • Checking emails. • Checking off all products going out. • Reporting missing or damaged product. • Loading truck for next day's jobs to include tools Equipment and any requested supplies needed. • Signing in/out all tools and equipment needed for each job. • Working directly with leads for specific job requirements • Making sure all trucks are refit daily with equipment and supplies such as cleaning kits, pads, straps, Masonite, and dock plates. • Making sure the back dock is cleaned at the end of each night. • Sending out night crew email out at the end of each night. • Locking up the tools, equipment, trucks, and warehouse at the end of each night. • Making changes on the dispatch when trucks are moved or replaced. • Helping with Fieldwork as needed.
