PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Dr. Anthony Fauci will join the Prince George's County Health Department for a virtual chat on Monday. The group will answer questions and concerns about the coronavirus vaccine. Prince George's County has the slowest immunization rollout in the state. About 3.5 percent of the county has gotten the shot. In comparison, leading Worcester County has vaccinated 13.5 percent of its population. County Executive Alsobrooks has worked to build confidence in the inoculation. Last month, she held a town hall with Latino leaders to endorse the shot. "However, we want to make sure every Prince Georgian understands the promise these vaccines hold for a future free of COVID-19."
