Camping fun time for kids!! Guajome Regional Park Guajome Regional Park Campground is 8 miles inland from miles of sandy beaches along the Pacific Ocean and the coastal community of Oceanside. The park is operated by San Diego County Parks and Recreation. Visitors to the park enjoy fishing and hiking. Bird watchers can spot dozens of species of migratory birds that stop at the park's two ponds and marsh. Facilities at the park include a caravan pavilion, playgrounds, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, an outdoor fitness area, sports fields, a small rock climbing formation, and a basketball court. Guajome Regional Park Campground features 33 campsites for RVs, trailers, and tents. Campsites have water and electric hook-ups. There is also a cabin that sleeps 5 which may be rented.
