Description
GENEVA, IL — Voters in Geneva who wish to cast their ballots through the mail for the Feb. 23 primary or April 6 election must apply for a mail-in ballot from the Kane County Clerk's Office.
Amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the clerk's office sent applications for mail-in ballots to more than 200,000 registered voters ahead of the November 2020 election.

However, the state law that required those applications to be sent did not include enough funding to continue that practice in 2021, according to a news release from Kane County Clerk John Cunningham.
Voters will not receive a mail-in ballot if they do not complete an application, meaning they would be required to vote in person. Voters can also call the clerk's office at 630-232-5990 or visit the office in Geneva.
