Press release from the Cobb County Government: February 3, 2021 Cobb Commission Chairwoman Lisa Cupid joined Governor Kemp on a tour of the drive-through vaccination site at Jim R. Miller Park. Kemp told reporters the state had vaccinated the 1 millionth resident, but the supply continues to run well below demand. Georgia will soon see its weekly allocation rise from 120,000 doses a week to 154,000 doses, but that remains well below what is needed. Chairwoman Cupid says the county is working with the Public Health Department to crank up a call center to help answer questions and help those without internet access.
