Cozy room in Fenway neighborhood for live-in personal care assistant (PCA) for disability rights activist. Move-in date in the next few weeks. You would help me get in bed five nights per week, help me overnight as needed, and then turn me in the early morning. You would also help me for 4-5 hours Sunday morning. Additional shifts possible. On 2 nights per week, another helper would put me to bed, you would just be responsible for the overnight. Right now, the nights are Wednesday and Friday. You would back up for me as your schedule permits. Typically, a total of 23 or 24 hours per week. Other shifts may also be available. Rent free, all utilities covered. You need to be responsible and mature. You need to be able to fall asleep easily. No healthcare experience is necessary, but you need to be comfortable with bodies and personal care. You have to be a legal resident or have a work permit. You need to enjoy giving attention to cats. You would have to be tested for COVID-19 before moving in, and practice covid safety Excellent T connections, minutes from Storrow Drive and the Mass Pike. LGBTQ+ friendly. Apartment is light and airy on the 2nd floor. Beautiful view out bedroom windows of the Back Bay Fens.
