Deadly Crash In Fremont Thursday

FREMONT, CA — A motorcyclist was killed in Fremont Monday in a collision with a box truck. The victim's name has not been released. Mission Boulevard was closed in both directions from about 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. as police investigated the crash. The crash happened at the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Mayhew Road. The driver of the truck remained at the scene and cooperated with police. A preliminary investigation found that the motorcycle crashed into the driver's side of the truck in the intersection. This is Fremont's first fatal traffic crash of 2021.
