Position Summary: Raspberry Roots is an established, vertically integrated cannabis company within the Alaska Recreational market. The aesthetic appearance and cleanliness of our operation is one of the most important aspects of daily business. Each department is reliant upon the custodial maintenance of the premises and consistent sanitation of equipment. The Custodial Specialist is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary facility, proper cleaning and handling of all equipment, as well as utilizing hazardous chemicals while ensuring precise safety protocols. Compliance to strict regulations is a mandatory task that takes focus and attention to detail, therefore each department is responsible for upholding all regulation and compliance standards in the State of Alaska. This position requires accurate attention to detail, strong work ethic, and exceptional time management to maintain a clean and functional facility. Duties and Responsibilities: Vacuuming and mopping of all flooring and stairs. Maintain, clean and sanitize all bathrooms, offices, meeting rooms, break rooms, production areas and equipment. Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles, as necessary. Sanitize all department equipment and containers in a timely and efficient manner. Demonstrate clear and effective communication with coworkers as to the needs per department. Prioritize emergency and non-routine requests. Learn, execute, and uphold industry standards. Follow all regulations and company guidelines. Work at fast pace in a high production environment. Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday 8:00am – 4:00pm. There is no parking on site. Employees utilize an in-house shuttle from an off-site parking location. There is a No Smoking Policy. From the time one shows up to work through the time they leave, one may not smoke cigarettes. Compensation is $18/hour DOE Requirements include, but are not limited to: **Must have a Marijuana Handler’s Permit Ability to focus and stay on long tasks. Attention to detail. Ability to problem solve independently. Meticulous and organized in performing duties. Quick learner and have a willingness to be coach-able. Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to occasionally lift 40+ pounds. Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Reliable transportation. High school diploma or GED. At least 21 years of age. All customers and employees are required to wear a mask at all times.
