Total Package Professional Services is seeking qualified applicants for a Quality Control Manager (CQCM) opportunity with one of the largest building contractors in San Diego County. This company is recognized as a leading force within the construction community. They offer expertise in Design-Build, Construction Management, and Construction projects including renovation and modernization projects for public and private clients. The role of the CQCM is to managing daily preventive and corrective Quality Control activities. The CQCM will hold quality control meetings, perform inspections, prepare related quality control documents and certifications, and prepare a number of other quality-related tasks. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, detail-oriented, be an effective communicator, technically savvy, and possess a construction management background. Our client is a leading General Contractor based in San Diego. They operate throughout the Western United States and have diverse experience with a broad range of projects. Past projects include educational facilities, historic structures, retail, healthcare, military structures, and industrial complexes. Requirements: - Graduation from a 4 year accredited Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or Building Science - College or University program, highly preferred. - Two years of experience in a CQ Manager role. - 10 years’ progressive construction experience including but not limited to construction and/or project management - Candidates must be familiar with the requirements of Army Corp’s EM 385-1-1 and have experience in areas of hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability. ***Please apply on our careers page:
