Link Staffing is seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for safely operating a Flatbed hauling water. These are Full Time Temp to Hire positions APPLY TODAY START TOMORROW!!!! This position requires 12 hour shifts either 4am to 4pm or 4pm to 4am working anywhere from 50 to 60 hours a week with a rotating schedule. Responsibilities · Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers · Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance · Plan routes and meet pickup and delivery schedules · Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts · Input “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process · Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures · Comply with company rules and regulations · Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions · Collect and verify delivery instructions · Report defects, accidents or violations Skills · Proven work experience as a truck driver · Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc) · Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly · Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations · No recent moving or driving violations · Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) · Valid truck driving license Qualifications: Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields minimum 3 years verifiable commercial driving. Commercial Driver's License and Social Security Card Must have Active Medical Card Clean MVR (less than two moving violations in the past three years) Ability to handle physical workload Strong work ethic Must be able to pass background (NO FELONIES IN THE PAST THREE YEARS) Must be Registered with Clearing House GET PAID EVERY WEEK AND WE DO NOT WITHHOLD A WEEK BACK!!!
