ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN Looking to get your foot in the door at a Respected and Integral part of Colorado Environmental Services? Looking for someone to efficiently and effectively learn to operate a 7730 Geoprobe safely to complete monitoring well installation and INSITU injections. Responsibilities: Operating Geoprobe® Direct-Push Technology (DPT) and auger rigs Monitoring well installation with HSA, SSA, and DPT tooling Assistance with remedial system trenching and excavations Soil/groundwater treatment system operations and maintenance General labor on environmental cleanup projects Collecting ground water, soil, and vapor samples for environmental investigations Troubleshooting and repair of equipment Problem solving skills and flexibility Equipment or truck maintenance and repair Writing skills for recording accurate fields notes Skilled with Microsoft Word and Excel 40-60 hours per week anticipated Work is year-round, outdoors, and in all weather condition Qualifications: Clean Motor Vehicle Record Current and valid CDL are preferred or must acquire a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)(combination, not tractor trailer) within 60 days of employment Pre-employment and Random Drug and Alcohol testing DOT & HAZWOPER medical clearance, and respirator medical clearance Physical endurance and heavy lifting is required including the physical ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (CFR 1910.120) certification is preferred or required within first week of employmentExperience with operation of heavy equipment Previous experience supporting a variety of investigation and remediation projects preferred
