Landscape Enhancement Crew Leader / Driver Job Description Lewis Landscape Services is the largest residential landscaping company on the Portland West Side / Beaverton area. We currently have a position open for an experienced landscape enhancement installer. The position is full time, 40-50 hours per week, year round. Job duties will include: Drive company truck and trailer to job site each day. Manage crew of 2-3 workers throughout the day Oversee install of Bark, Trees, Plantings, Sod Lawns, gravel pathways, etc. Drive trucks & trailers to pick up or unload product Communicating / working together Use company phones Assure proper use, care and inventory of company vehicle, equipment and tools assigned. Promote and maintain safe working conditions Shop upkeep Skill Requirements Fluent in Spanish is a big plus as most of your co-workers will be Hispanic. Valid Driver's License and good driving record Reliable. Ability to be on time and be at work every day you are scheduled to work Pruning, installing barkdust, installing new sod lawns, installing plants and trees, and gravel pathways. Detailed experience using all landscaping equipment, such as; Bobcat Skid Steer, Brick / Paver Saw, Plate Compactor, Rototiller, pulling trailers, blowers, etc. Excellent people skills - good dealing with customers Positive attitude Be drug-free and responsible Good leadership skills / ability to manage other crew members well and in a positive, respectful manner Compensation $19 per hour if you have a driver's license. Work week is 40-50 hours per week, all year. Company Health Insurance Provided.
