SE Portland family-owned Electrical company is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Warehouse team of Shophands and Drivers. We are looking for candidates with safe driving skills, ability to navigate the greater Portland-Metro area by GPS & directions, follow written and oral instructions and work in a very high volume atmosphere. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for company auto insurance required. No CDL Required. Experience pulling a trailer and operating a boom lift preferred, but will train the right person. JOB DETAILS: Hours: Full time 40 hours per week, plus occasional overtime. Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am to 2:30 pm. Compensation: $15/hr starting. Performance based increases at 6 and 12 months. Full Benefits package includes medical, dental, vision and PTO. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Excellent customer service and communication skills from employee to vendor, customers, contractors and fellow employees • Assist in preparing orders to be loaded onto truck and delivered each day. • When necessary, repack any orders and ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. • Determine that all material for each order is correct (quantity and type of material) before departure. • Load Electricians’ orders properly on the truck. • Pick up/Deliver product to the Electricians in a safe and timely manner. • Lifting 50lbs regularly. • Maintain organized, clean and safe warehouse in order to ensure maximum efficiency and safety • Perform a daily vehicle inspection and complete appropriate documentation. • Keep vehicles clean, serviced and maintained in accordance with the Owner's Manual and Squires maintenance requirements. Alert supervisor when repair or servicing is needed. • Perform other tasks in the branch, including warehouse duties such as, accurately checking in freight, restocking product, cleaning warehouse and inventory counts when needed.
