Job Description We are looking for people with a good attitude, who will be on time to work, complete assigned tasks, and work with team members in a safe, quality-focused, and efficient manner. We unload/load automobiles seven days a week at our facility in Birmingham. *If you have issues following instructions or rules, do not apply* We want to hire 5 rail loafers. Rail loaders will be in Birmingham, AL. Vehicle handlers will be between Trussville and Talladega depending on where our needs are day to day. You must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs. overhead, climb ladders, perform work at heights in bi-level and tri-level railcars, as well as perform work and drive an automobile in a confined space. Applicants must have an acceptable driving record and valid driver license: -No more than 3 non-major violations over the past 3 years -No DUI's or major violations (examples: vehicular homicide, eluding law enforcement, reckless driving) We will order, receive, and review a copy of potential hires' driving records before consideration for employment. Applicants that are considered for employment will be subject to a background check and approval via E-verifile/E-railsafe, subject to the following guidelines: -No felony convictions (including "no contest") -No convictions (including "no contest") for crimes related to theft or receipt of stolen property, drug-related charges, violence or menacing acts. Required pre-employment drug screening/tests, as well as post accident and reasonable suspicion drug tests. - Failure to submit to drug screening/testing and/or failure to provide acceptable/adequate specimen for screening/testing will be considered as a positive result. -Persons testing positive will be ineligible for employment/continued employment. Personnel must be available to work 7 days a week, Sunday through Saturday. Personnel will generally work a schedule of 4 days on duty with 2 days off.
