Description Job Summary: CARROLL is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team and take excellent care of our community! As a CARROLL Maintenance Technician, you will support the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical integrity of the community. This involves ensuring a safe, secure and comfortable Carefree Living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The Maintenance Technician will carry out assigned duties in a safe manner and other duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor. You will Respond to resident service requests as received via electronic system Inspect and help coordinate all make-ready repairs and services. Assist make-ready staff as required to meet deadlines. Maintain accurate records for preventative maintenance, service requests, make ready status Move heavy appliances, equipment abandoned furniture, appliances, etc. when necessary. Keep all safety materials current and readily available. Aware of the condition of the physical property. Conduct business in accordance to all policies/procedures and all state/federal laws (ADA, Fair Housing, OSHA, HAZCOM Program Lead Based Paint, EPA etc.) Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair, as directed, involving the following on a daily basis: Electrical and plumbing A/C and heating systems Appliances Water irrigation systems Stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings Tile, carpet, and flooring Roofing, gutters, fasteners Interior/exterior lights Fireplaces, ceiling fans Shutters, doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors, door locks etc. Boiler, gas and electric Requirements You have Ability to work in a team environment Ability to multitask Ability to work with third party vendors EPA, CPO certification Minimum of 2 years’ experience in property management If this sounds like you: Apply now!
