Purchasing Agent / Inventory Controller Long Standing Seasonal Retail & Service Company has an immediate opening for an Inventory Controller/Purchasing Agent. The team member we are looking for would be responsible for many aspects of our busy fast paced business which would include pulling and staging of product for customers and projects along with receiving in shipments from vendors and distributors. The person we are seeking would have a high attention to detail and can learn the product within our industry quickly. Main Responsibilities would include but are not limited to: * Receiving product in * Staging product for customers & projects * Restocking store shelves * Ordering product for customers & for stock * Preparing product to be shipped out * Loading and securing trucks with our product being shipped out * Will call pickups of product from local vendors *Assisting our in-house designer with researching & securing product * Assist admin/office team as needed with ordering and invoicing * Willingness to help in the service area when needed Skills Required: * Attention to detail in all aspects including paperwork * Great communication skills and a team player * Physical ability (Able to lift up to 50 lbs) * Forklift experience * Computer experience and competence * Legible writing skills * Great driving record * Willingness to jump in and help wherever our busy company needs * Ability to wear a lot of different hats at any given minute of every day Employment: * Compensation: DOE * We offer a competitive benefit package which includes Group Health Insurance, 401K, & PTO * Clean driving record required * This company has a drug free policy and therefore will require a pre-employment drug screening
