Job Description About us – Innovate Building Solutions offers professional installations of glass blocks, replacement windows & doors, and organization systems through our various divisions (including Columbus Glass Block, Clear Choice Window and Door, Bath Doctor & Innovate Home Org). Most of our projects are in residential homes with some commercial work as well. Our company has won many service awards through Angie’s list and Consumers Choice and was established in 1977. To learn more about our company visit www.innovatebuildingsolutions.com What we’re looking for – We are looking for a full-time, day shift construction laborer and installer who is flexible and willing to do what is needed across our various divisions – from window & door installations to installations of organization systems. If you have previous construction experience that is helpful – if not, we will train and work with handy people with the willingness and ability to learn. Qualifications • We prefer previous construction (but not required). Carpentry and masonry are a plus. Experience with window, door, bath liner, glass blocks, home organization and remodeling would be helpful. • Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record (an ability to drive larger work trucks is a plus). • Ability to use hand and power tools is required. • Must be comfortable working independently in residential homes or commercial projects. • Willingness to learn new skills. • Ability to communicate well. • Must be hard working, dependable and have reliable transportation. Job Responsibilities • Install vinyl replacement, glass block windows, entry doors and/or home organization systems. • Perform various carpentry & masonry duties. • Load materials at our warehouse and take to job site for installation. • Other duties as assigned by Branch Manager Pay, Hours, Benefits & Location • Our company does installations Monday through Saturday. • The pay determined by the skills of the person applying. • Health insurance, dental and vision, long-term disability, life insurance, vacation, paid holidays, and 401K. • Our business is located at 3091 East 14th Avenue Columbus Ohio 43219 where you would report to work. *Note: We do require a background check and pre-employment drug screen.* Job Type: Full-time
