Description
We are looking for a few staff members to join our grounds keeping crew We will be training you as you will be performing general labor for much of the time. These positions will require 45 hours per week on average with work M-F 8-5 and periodic weekend snow removal and weekend morning cleanup rotation. Generally, lunch is taken from noon to 1pm each weekday. You must be able to lift at least 60 pounds. We also request you commit to the position for at least 1 year. If you email us, please let us know if you have any experience in cleaning, yardwork or snow removal, but none is required and also list prior employment. If you call, you will be asked some questions over the phone. You must have a valid drivers license and a vehicle to drive. You will be compensated per mile for driving. Living within 10 miles of Iowa City is preferred. Position pay starts at $10, but may have opportunity to advance to other positions with higher pay as they open up and once you gain experience in these areas.
