TPPS is looking for an experienced Labor Compliance Specialist to join our growing team. HR isn't always viewed as fun, but we love what we do, and we incorporate our personalities and love for HR in our work every day. Essential Duties Interacts with TPPS Labor Compliance clientele. Interacts with governmental entities on behalf of TPPS and its clients. Monitors labor compliance activities for clients in a variety of ways: Contractor: by assisting contractor/employers with ensuring they are following prevailing wage laws; completing all required documentation; monitoring their contractors and so on. Third party: by requesting public records, reviewing records and cross referencing with regulations, wage determinations, and other relative documents and information; making recommendations regarding filing complaints on behalf of clients when labor compliance violations have been identified; filing complaints with regulatory bodies and seeing complaint through to completion. Additional duties will be assigned on an as needed basis. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor Degree highly preferred. Specialized training and/or certification in construction payroll, prevailing wage and labor compliance. Intermediate to advanced computer skills including MS Office Suite (emphasis on Excel). Strong communication skills – written and verbal. Ability to work autonomously and as a team member. Focused and organized. Self-driven. Reliable and honest with a strong work ethic. PI129803169
