Seeking a full time Farm Equipment Operator for a family farm located in Butte County. Job Duties: - Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production such as tractors, forklifts, ATV’s, rice harvest equipment, orchard equipment etc. - Attach farm implements such as disc, chisels, sprayers, fertilizer implements, scrapers - Drive trucks to haul supplies, tools, or farm workers - Perform maintenance checks of equipment, adjust farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions - Apply fertilizer or pesticide solutions using hand sprayers and tractor mounted implements - Mix specified material or chemicals and add solutions into sprayer machinery - Assist in shop mechanic equipment repairs and maintenance operations during winter season - Able to work under limited supervision, demonstrate punctuality & reliability, follow all safety & operating procedures - Assigned duties as needed Job Requirements: - Valid Drivers license in good standing - Class A Driver’s license a plus - Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus - Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs - Ability to work in all outside weather temperatures and conditions Located in Biggs, CA but work throughout Butte County Pay Depending on experience. Position is full time, 40+ hours. Seasonally can be 70+ hrs/week. Able to work nights and weekends when required.
