Shed Installer Reports to: Assistant Manager JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary Seeking an entry level installer and sheet metal fabricator for aluminum storage sheds, window awnings, and sunscreens. Will train. This position involves fabrication and general shop work as well as installation work. Must be a U.S. citizen or have a current work visa. Must have clean driving record. Must be mechanically inclined. Essential Functions • Installs sheds. • Installs window awnings. • Installs sunscreens. • Metal fabrication. • Be available to set up any piece of equipment or machine. • Keep your truck clean and presentable. • Clean equipment/shop floor or any other applicable areas as assigned by the manager. • Communicate effectively with and complete tasks assigned by the manager. Competencies • Is timely and punctual when reporting to work. • Reports and resolves complaints. • Clean and neat appearance with no visible tattoos. Work Environment This job operates mostly in the field; however, some shop time will be required. This role routinely engages customers of United Aluminum and requires great communication skills. Installer will spend lengthy periods of time on his/her feet. Standard hand tools and small electric tools will be utilized. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will routinely lift, push, or pull. The employee frequently is required to stand/walk and requires the ability to occasionally lift supplies up to 100 pounds. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work will vary based on the needs of United Aluminum.
