REHOME-Male Ball Python

Description

Hello all, I’ve got a full grown male Ball Python here in Flagstaff that I’m trying to find a new home for. His name is Skip and I’ve had him for about 6 years. He is about 3.5 feet long now. Skip has been a great snake during this time. He has never struck at me or anyone else that I know of. He is a little picky with what he eats however, preferring live mice and rats over frozen ones. When Skip and I became acquainted I was working in town full time and able to spend more time with him but now work keeps me traveling for extended periods of time at random intervals. That being said I don’t have the time to give him the care and attention he deserves. Two years ago I upgraded his terrarium from 40 gallon tank to a 75 gallon tank. I built the top for it and he has never escaped. It has two burrowing areas; one on each end, two heat lamps and one heat pad on the same side so he can warm and cool as needed. It also is real soil with living plants. There is also an LED light that helps the plants grow if you can’t put it by a window. It could use a new crop of springtails though. They are small bugs that help things to decompose in there. The stand that the terrarium is sitting on is included too if you’d like. It is a sturdy desk and has never wobbled. It will be essential to have a truck to move the terrarium and desk at once. A SUV would work for two trips depending on how small it is. If using a truck I’d ask you to have a way to transport Skip inside the cab as the outdoor temperatures in Flagstaff right now would kill him. I’d like to make sure that someone who will care for him well gets him. If you are interested in him please message me and let me know what experience you have with reptiles/amphibians and why you’d like to be Skip’s new caretaker. He has a pretty nice setup and I would like his home to be kept up and his quality of life to be good. Thanks for reading and I hope you have a great day.
